Ski season opens in Chepelare resort, Rhodopi Mountain

The ski season officially opened in Chepelare today. The resort is offering a 20% discount on all services.
A 4-seat ski lift is available to tourists. Although the winter has been mild so far, hosts ensure there will be plenty of artificial snow. The official opening ceremony begins at 17.30 in Chepelare city center with Christmas lights and a religious ritual for a successful winter season. Even though there is no snow, the drop in temperature in November was a dream come true for hotel managers. Yesterday it snowed in Pamporovo, which is just 10 km away from Chepelare. Locals hope it continues to snow.
