Lovech
Lovech is picturesquely situated along the two banks of the Osum River, where the last elevations of the Pre-Balkan Mountain end. Lovech is one of the oldest and most interesting Bulgarian towns. The most remarkable place is the old quarter of the town – Varosha Architecture-Historical Reserve. It is amphitheatrically situated along the right bank of the river. The famous Covered Bridge links Varosha with the remaining part of the town. Near the town is The Stratesh Park – a wonderful place for recreation, located in a picturesque countryside with a well-developed tourist infrastructure and a zoo.
